Namche Bazaar is the busiest town in the Everest region as tourists spend three nights here. This is also the perfect place to stay in a cozy lodge eating healthy food, drinking organic Tea/Coffee and preparing yourself for the trek.
Situated at a height of 3450 meters, Hotel Everest has a total of 17 rooms. Five of them are with attached toilet and offer breathing views of Mt.Thamserku right form the window and the rest are common rooms that provide you a good night sleep after a long walk of six hours from Phakding. One can spend the time in Namche visiting the monastery which is just ten minutes’ walk form the hotel, take a short hike to Syangboche, stroll around the bustling bazaar or pay a visit to the Namche museum and the memorial of Tenzing Norgay, the first person to scale Mt.Everest together with Sir Edmund Hillary.
